TEN GODLIEST
REPUBLICANS
While so many of our beloved party members could easily make this list, we thought it was high time the most Godly of our Godly Men and Women in public service be recognized. (Note: List subject to change and amendment as worthy, Godly deeds come to our attention.)
10. Senator James Inhofe – Oklahoma. This Godly man has a solid voting record on issues important to Christians.
He Voted YES on banning partial birth abortions and is rated by NARAL, indicating a 100% pro-life voting record. Rated 100% by the Christian Coalition: a pro-family voting record and he voted YES on declaring English as the official language of the US government. Senator Inhofe faces up to the Lieberals day in and day out. He voted YES on recommending Constitutional ban on flag desecration and on prohibiting “Gay” marriages. Brother Inhofe is a strong proponent of 2nd Amendment rights, having voted No on allowing lawsuits against gun manufacturers and NO on requiring background checks at guns shows. A vote for Senator Inhofe is a vote for Jesus!
9. Rep. Marilyn Musgrave – Colorado. This Godly woman has been on freedom’s firing line for years. An evangelical Christian who married her Bible-camp sweetheart, Sister Musgrave does not believe in the separation of church and state.
She entered politics in 1990, running for her local school board on a crusade to end sex education as part of the curriculum. By the time her tenure was over, the schools taught abstinence only and offending passages in health textbooks had been blacked out. Praise the Lord! During her eight years in the Colorado legislature, Musgrave continued the fight for traditional Christian values, overcoming two vetoes by the governor to pass a state ban on gay marriage. Once in Congress, Musgrave introduced a U.S. constitutional amendment to outlaw gay marriage nationwide. Rated 100% by the Christian Coalition: a pro-family voting record. Prray for Sister Musgrave as she fights Godless, Atheistic, gay homosexual, pagan, communists in Washington, DC.
8. Tom DeLay – Former Congressman from Texas. It is sad to note how his Godly man was driven from government by the Lieberal MSM and Hillary Clinton. Brother Delay stood foresquare for God in his years in the house and was proud to sponsor the “K Street Project”which allowed many worthy causes and interests never before heard from to have access to and a voice in government decision making.
In keeping with his very sensible opposition to environmental regulation, DeLay criticized proposals to phase out the use of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), which allegedly lead to the depletion of the ozone layer. In 1995, DeLay courageously introduced a bill to revoke the CFC ban and to repeal provisions of the Clean Air Act dealing with stratospheric ozone, arguing that the science underlying the ban was debatable. In 1998, DeLay tirelessly worked, almost singlehandedly, to ensure that the House vote on impeaching President Bill Clinton was successful. DeLay rejected efforts to censure Clinton, who, DeLay said, had lied under oath, which we all knew. DeLay believed that the U.S. Constitution allowed the House to punish the president only through impeachment. He called on Clinton to resign and personally compelled enough House members to vote to approve two articles of impeachment. DeLay was also noted as an innovated for involving lobbyists in the process of passing House bills. No one had ever thought to include these well-informed experts before. One lobbyist said, “I’ve had members pull me aside and ask me to talk to another member of Congress about a bill or amendment, but, gosh, I’ve never been asked to work on a bill – at least like they are asking us to whip bills now. Tom is such an inclusive guy!” We miss you, Brother Tom!
7. Mike Huckabee – Former Governor of Arkansas. This one was a tough one for us. We had a lot of problems with Mike while we were suffering under the hypnosis of Sam Brownback.
However, there’s no getting around some facts. He is an ordained Baptist Minister. And, he embraces a true Christian (Baptist Republican) political platform. Pastor Huckabee opposes abortions, same-sex marriages, and civil unions. He is against gun control and is an avid hunter. Pastor Huckabee enthusiastically supports the death penalty. He supports the teaching creationism and intelligent design in school classes, and believes the world was created in seven days. Pastor Huckabee supports the War in Iraq, the troop surge and the continued operation of the Guantanamo Bay detention camp. Could we ask for more? He did some amazing things for the casue of family values while he was Governor of Arkansas. On April 11, 2001, Pastor Huckabee signed the “Covenant Marriage Act”, which is a marriage contract option that compels the couple to seek counseling if problems develop during the marriage, provides limited grounds for divorce or separation, and restricts lawsuits against spouses. He said the law, “offers couples a chance to be held to a higher level of marital commitment”. Pastor Huckabee would probably be higher on our list, but for the fact he was born and reared in Hope, Arkansas. Given our unfortunate experience as a country with another native of that town, we take some pause for reflection. Definite possibility to move up.
6. Rick Santorum – Former Senator from Pennsylvannia. What a tragedy that this fine young Christian man was also driven from office by the vast left wing conspiracy. No one fought more bravely to save the life of Terry Schiavo when her husband and her doctors wanted to snuff her. Santorum played a key role in shepherding the Terri Schiavo legislation through the Senate to a vote on March 20, 2005. The lieberal MSM punished Rick for this and worked hard for his defeat.
But, he is still a young man and we pray every day for his return to public life. A proud family man, Rick worked his tail off on family values issues both as a member of the House and as a Senator. He has frequently stated that he does not believe a “right to privacy” exists under the Constitution, even within marriage; he has been especially critical of the Supreme Court decision in Griswold v. Connecticut (1965), which held that the Constitution guaranteed the aforementioned right, and on that basis, overturned a law prohibiting the sale and use of contraceptives. An un-called-for controversy arose following Senator Santorum’s statements about homosexuality in an interview with the Associated Press that was published on April 20, 2003. In response to a question about how to prevent sexual abuse of children by priests, Santorum described homosexual acts as part of a class of “deviant” sexual behavior that is “antithetical to a healthy, stable, traditional family”. Rick went on to say, “Every society in the history of man has upheld the institution of marriage as a bond between a man and a woman. Why? Because society is based on one thing: that society is based on the future of the society. And that’s what? Children. Monogamous relationships. In every society, the definition of marriage has not ever to my knowledge included homosexuality. That’s not to pick on homosexuality. It’s not, you know, man on child, man on dog, or whatever the case may be. It is one thing. And when you destroy that you have a dramatic impact on the quality”. There’s the man at his word.
5. Phyllis Schlafly, the founder of Eagle Forum. Sister Schlafly (say thatthree times real fast) has been a leader in the social conservative movement since 1972. In a ten-year battle, Mrs. Schlafly led the pro-family movement to victory over the principal legislative goal of the radical feminists, called the Equal Rights Amendment.
An articulate and successful opponent of the radical feminist movement, she appears in debate on college campuses more frequently than any other conservative. She was named one of the 100 most important women of the 20th century by the Ladies’ Home Journal. “Eagle Forum has set a high standard of volunteer participation in the political and legislative process…. You’ve been out front on so many of the most important issues of our time…. Your work is an example to all those who would struggle for an America that is prosperous and free…. Our nation needs the kind of dedicated individual volunteer service you and Eagle Forum have demonstrated over the last 20 years…. God bless all of you for your dedication to God, Family, and Country. “ — President Ronald Reagan
4. President George W. Bush – Reigning President of the United States of Jesus. We love and support the President so many may wonder why he comes in at Fourth. A number of reasons come to mind. He is near the end of his term. He has the skinny Negress around him all the time. His wife is a Methodist. But, he is still our beloved President and can do no wrong.
He is a born-again Christian, reformed drunk and regular all-around good guy. Just the sort you’d want for a next door neighbor. Additionally, God speaks directly to President Bush, who speaks back and the two of them decide what will be done in the world. All of this silly talk about that mean-looking Dick Cheny with the lesbian daughter running things is just PR. It’s the two G’s – God and George with their hands firmly on the wheel of the ship of state. In the televised Republican presidential debate held in Des Moines, Iowa on December 13, 1999, all of the participating candidates were asked “What political philosopher or thinker do you most identify with and why?” Unlike most of the other candidates, who cited former presidents and other political figures, Bush responded, “Christ, because he changed my heart”. We knew right then and there what we were getting and we flocked to him because we knew God was with him.
3. Ralph Reed - American Republican political activist. Brother Reed is probably best known as the first executive director of the Christian Coalition during the early 1990s. He sought the Republican nomination for the office of Lieutenant Governor of Georgia, but tragically lost the primary election on July 18, 2006 to State Senator Casey Cagle.
Brother Reed has an amazing story of how he was saved. One Saturday evening in September of 1983, he had a religious experience while at Bullfeathers, an upscale pub in Capitol Hill. Reed says “the Holy Spirit simply demanded me to come to Jesus”.He walked outside the pub to a phone booth, thumbed through the yellow pages under “Churches,” and found the Evangel Assembly of God in Camp Springs, Maryland. He visited the next morning and became a born-again Christian. Praise the Lord! Brother Reed has spent a lifetime in the battle for the rights of the unborn. In March 1985, as part of a nation-wide movement spearheaded by Operation Rescue, Reed organized members of Students for America and College Republicans to picket the Fleming Center (an abortion clinic) in Raleigh, North Carolina, and the nearby home of its founder, a Dutch-born doctor. (Some Dutchman running an abortion mill!) Clinic staff reported that protestors “screamed epithets and intimidated patients with mock baby funerals.” Reed was arrested after bursting into the waiting room of the clinic, but was not prosecuted. The D.A.’s office must have seen the righteousness of his cause. A great American and a great Christian.
2. Rep. Michelle Bachmann – Minnesota. This was a really tough call. We went back and forth with the top spot, but to tell the truth, either of these ladies could be the GODLIEST REPUBLICAN on any given day of the week, due to the wonderful acts of Christian Charity performed by both of them. ![]()

Not only is she a tireless legislator, she and he husband have over time welcomed 27 foster children into their home, to rear in a Christian family environment. The couple married in 1978 and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she enrolled at the Bible-based Coburn School of Law, an affiliate of Oral Roberts University. She earned a Juris Doctorate at Coburn in 1986, and a post-doctorate degree from William and Mary Law School in Virginia in 1988. Like us, Congresswoman Bachmann is pro-America, pro-Life, pro-Gun, pro-family, pro-Republican and pro-Jesus! ”I firmly believe in moving toward and promoting a culture that values and respects the sanctity of life – especially those rights of the unborn and the elderly.”Sister Bachmann favors privatization of Social Security and supports President Bush’s policies in Iraq and believes the military must stay there as long as it takes to get the job done. As a lawyer she knows her Constitution backwards and forwards. “Growing up in a home that valued hunting and fishing, the 2nd Amendment is of equal importance as the other nine Amendments in our Bill of Rights.” She opposes minimum wage increases, and best of all, she supports a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage! Praise Jesus!
1. Katharine Harris – Former House Member from Florida. We’ll let Sister Harris’ words speak for themselves. She is very frank about political myths: “We have to have the faithful in government and over time, that lie we have been told, the separation of church and state will fade away.”
Sister Harris knows who is in the driver’s seat in our lives: “God is the one who chooses our rulers. And if we are the ones not actively involved in electing those godly men and women and if people aren’t involved in helping godly men in getting elected than we’re going to have a nation of secular laws. That’s not what our founding fathers intended and that’s certainly isn’t what God intended.” Finally, Sister Harris does not let us off easy. She is not content to see her fellow Christians stand by and do nothing: “But the real issue is why should Baptists care, why should people care? If you are not electing Christians, tried and true, under public scrutiny and pressure, if you’re not electing Christians then in essence you are going to legislate sin. They can legislate sin. They can say that abortion is alright. They can vote to sustain gay marriage. And that will take western civilization, indeed other nations because people look to our country as one nation as under God and whenever we legislate sin and we say abortion is permissible and we say gay unions are permissible, then average citizens who are not Christians, because they don’t know better, we are leading them astray and it’s wrong.” That’s we’ve chosen Katharine Harris of Florida as THE MOST GODLY REPUBLICAN IN THE UNITED STATES OF JESUS!
Praise the Lord!

As a Christian I am appauled that something like this is being published under the false pretense of Christian faith. Shame on you!!!!! You run things? how? I’m genuinely curious. Congress doesn’t seem too inclined to press Christianity – sorry folks, Baptist-ism – on Americans, and it looks like…yep, there’s still gay people and lesbians and atheists and Muslims and Jews and Buddhists and Catholics and Democrats and Independents and anarchists. If you’re running the show you’re obviously not doing your job :].

What is one thing Bush has done right? I’m truly confused and bewildered how anyone could support someone who has destroyed our economy, education, health care, and foreign relations. Not to mention all the unconstitutional garbage that has been passed under his administration. But somehow I feel that you are all comfortable having your conversations tapped. Hell, I bet if they wanted to stick a gps locator up every american’s **unChristian reference to anatomy removed** you all would be the first ones in line already bent over. You all make me sick.
MOD TODD SEZ: 1. There’s nothing in our conversations we are ashamed of. 2. If God wanted us to have such a device we would have been born with it. He has his own GPS and needs no such thing. 3. God talks to President Bush. He doesn’t talk to you, for obvious reasons.

It’s okay, Brother Yancy…I’m sure you had no intention of replying to Large because you have no other way of dealing with him. If you can’t insult him or belittle him, or throw the Bible at him – because he’s right! – then you’ll at least deny him the courtesy of an honest answer.

I think Mike Huckabee, one of the most upstanding men in politics today would be absolutely ashamed to hear that he is actually respected by you villains.
t might shock you guys that the “Children of Ham” (otherwise known in the rest of the country that is not insane as African Americans) voted for this guy with 49% in Arkansas. He was backed Senator Stark for openly being a humanist because he felt honesty was important.
Mike Huckabee is not a Racist. He is apalled that African Americans had their guns taken away in violation of the second amendment. And again, he won the faith of monority voters and preached out against persisting racism throughout his time as governor.
He doesn’t support sending children of illegal immigrants out of the country. He is pro legal immigration.
He says the Demcrats can get it right and Republicans can get it wrong.
He does not support Bush policies. He thinks Bush has done terrible things to this country especially in destroying state rights.
Thankfully he has very little in common with you guys.
Kimberly Jones hit it on the nail. You guys are evil… you are worse than pharisees.
MOD TODD SEZ: Gee. We’ve never been called “villians” before. I honestly have to stop and think about that one.
chukmaty said
Oh, and Huckabee is very much NOT an enthusiastic supporter of the eath Penaltie. He is a very hesitent supporter, he alsways did everything he could to find even a small excuse to commute sentances to life imprisonment.
He wants to bring the troops home as soon as possible, but he also does not wan t leaving to result in huge civilian cashualties that would come from Iran and the Sunni minority duke it out. Also a terror sate would ake its place and he wants to stand the Iraqi army up so they can take ove before leaving.

Amazing how a total lack of belief in American freedom (freedom of religion, speech, etc…) and a total lack of tollerance and charity (I believe Jesus preached that) seem to qualify you as a ‘good christian and american’.
How can taking freedoms from others and demanding lockstep belief with your own make you anything less than typical Nazi, fascist, or extremist types?
I would never try to take your personal beliefs from you, and demand that you change yours to reflect mine, but I will always fight for everyone to have fundamental American rights. Many people believe that they are correct in what they believe, and it is that diversity is what makes the US a great place to live in. How would YOU like to be forced to abide by very strict jewish or Muslim religious laws? You would detest it! Do not think that you are any different, know the difference between self-righteousness (the work of the devil, big time) and personal belief.
Are you good samritans? Will you step over the bloody homeless man on the street because his values might differ from yours, or am I, born in San Francisco and raised liberal, the only one who will.
Don’t tell me we make better Christians (and Americans) than you. Jesus preached love, and all I see here is hate. So sad.
Mod Hugh Note: You call US the bad folks? Heck, you say you are ‘the only one who will’ step over a bloody homeless man on the street, and you claim that is because you are a liberal from Sin Francisco. Well that speaks for itself. Why that is just awful, at the least you could walk around the bloody homeless man, or cross the street to avoid him, no need to step over him. Shameful! Honestly.

Sadly, I fear you are correct, for B. HUSSEIN Obama is surely the Anti-Christ [see below] and will win control over our Christian Republic, will impose Sharia law on the people and force the weak to engage in homosexual fornication and mass murder (abortion) parties. The Darkness of his skin is like the light of his father (Satan, Lord of Light) as compared to the Darkness of his spirit.
Nevertheless, Christian Patriots around our Godly land are preparing for the advent of his Satanic order and shall go down as true Christian warriors fighting for the love of the Lord against the Anti-Christ’s infinite evil and depravity.
Praise Jesus!
Infalliable proof that B. HUSSEIN Obama is the Anti-Christ:
Barack Obama was born on 8/4/1961. Add up all the letters that have a value in Roman Numerals, (e.g. V = 5, L=50), the word “ELECTION” gives you 151. If you add the individual digits, you get 7. If you then take this away from Barack Obama’s birth-year (1961), you get 1954.
Now, if you implement the Roman Numeral Technique above you get the following -
DEMOCRATIC = 171
CANDIDATE = 1011 (we’ll ignore the 0, giving 111)
BARACK = 100
HVSSEIN = (No ‘U’ in Latin, remember!) 6
OBAMA = 1000
Now if you add them all up, you get 1288. If you take that 1288 away from 1954, guess what you get?
666!!!!!!

2 Timothy 3:4-7: “Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
Your sort are nothing new and we the righteous are in no way surprised to see your adoration of the Anti-Christ (B. HUSSEIN Obama) for this was foretold as well:
Revelations 13:4-6: “And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.”
You are right, the Anti-Christ will win control of our Christian Republic and defile it with filth of his Father, Satan. And yet, it is we, the righteous who shall win in the end.

umm…Jesus spoke Aramaic and was a HEBREW! the old testament was originally written in Hebrew…the new one in GREEK! the scripture was translated into English much later. I can see that most of you do not speak another language…but those of us who do (english, spanish, french, and italian) know that it is impossible to literally traslate things as many phrases are peculiar to a language (technically called “idiomatic expressions”).
So, if you really insist on taking the scripture litteraly, I suggest you learn Greek…or at least a little bit of history.

Hi “Huh”– I’m sorry to see that you’re an idiot and a Jew (pagan) lover.
Like it or not, the AV 1611 King James Bible – which happens to be in ENGLISH – is the infallible and inerrant Word of God, therefore – as is evident – Jesus himself obviously spoke ENGLISH or whatever he said was designed to perfectly interpret into ENGLISH, America’s language!
Your “Aramaic” or whatever type of drivel you choose to make up is nothing and means nothing.
As for your infatuation with Hebrew and Christ-killing Jews (John 11:18; John 19:7, 12, 14-15; Acts 13:14-15 and so on), save your anti-Christian crap for the liberals and idiots. Of course we all appreciate the Yids in Israel mass murdering the Islamo-Fascists; but it doesn’t change the simple fact that they are godless scum destined for Hell. I even support Israel – Christians United for Israel, CUFI – http://www.cufi.org – as long as the dirty money-grubbing heretics are over there and not contaminating our Christian Republic. Israel makes for a great ghetto to get the godless scum out of here.
As the Lord himself said – in ENGLISH – “Jesus saith unto him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me’” — John 14:6
And that includes your Christ-killing and Christ-denying kike friends to, regardless of how many Islamo-Fascists they slaughter in Palestina.

Mr. Yates, although you’d like to believe that I “made up” this aramaic “drivel,” all it does is show your ignorance.
There is more to the world than America and American English, a language that did not exist at that time. If you took the time to actually LEARN something, you’d find that Aramaic (not American) was the language spoken by Jesus. Aramaic is a group of Semitic languages with a 3,000-year history. It is the original language of large sections of the biblical books of Daniel and Ezra, and is the main language of the Talmud. Modern Aramaic is spoken today as a first language by numerous, scattered communities, most significantly by Assyrians and Chaldeans.
Then again, you probably saw the word “semitic” and rushed to deny that our Lord was SEMITIC.

Read Mark 15:34 in the KJV:
“And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”
Eloi, Eloi, lama sabach-thani? [Eli, Eloi: Heb. or Aramaic,=Lord; lama sabachthani?: Aramaic,=why hast thou forsaken me?], in the New Testament, words of Jesus on the cross. The Greek text retains and translates the original, which is seemingly a quotation of Psalm 22.
Notice how your KJV clearly states “being interpreted.” that language that our Lord spoke is ARAMAIC. You call our Lord’s words DRIVEL? Drop to your knees and pray for forgiveness.

Mr. Yates,
First of all, that was my high school Bible teacher’s name, so it’s kind of…weird.
Second of all, “Huh” is incredibly correct about Jesus speaking Aramaic. If Jesus spoke American/English, how in the heck could the Jewish people have understood Him? That’s completely irrational to say that ONE person in a foreign country spoke a different language than that country.
Thirdly, if Christ is love, and he calls us to be His disciples and love our neighbours, yet you hate Jewish people (and seemingly everyone not Conservative Baptist), how are you in anyway being a Christian? When you get to heaven (assuming…) will God look at you and say, “Well done my good and faithful servant”? Or will He ask you what you were doing with your life here, smash-talking about His children instead of loving them and showing them the love of Christ? Yes, that’s what I said. Jewish (and everyone else different from your precious Conservative Baptist views) are God’s children.
I don’t agree with ANYTHING on this ridiculous and hypocritical site and I hate how you’re ruining the name of Christianity, but I don’t hate you. I love you because I’m supposed to love you, and because you are also one of God’s children. Your views are one of hate and intolerance, yet our own Lord sat and ate amongst prostitutes and sinners of all magnitudes. Why are you above doing the same? Are you above Christ? I certainly hope you don’t think that….
And before you go calling me “Atheist Liberal scum” I’d like you to know that I myself am a Christian. Evangelical Presbyterian. That’s basically a Presbyterian who goes and spreads the word of Christ. I am not evil because I’m not Baptist. If you think the Baptist denomination of Christianity is the only right view of Christianity, I implore you to re-evaluate your facts, as something that is the “only right” way, would be the first thing thought of. Coincidentally, the first denomination of Christianity was Lutheran. But it’s not the “only right” way. My mother was raised Lutheran, and my father Catholic. Now they are Evangelical Presbyterian. They are not different (except Catholicism, who pray to Jesus through Mary), because they worship the same Christ.
Before you call me an “evil, devil possessed person”, I would also like to say, this site advocates the very task of Satan: to turn believers against each other. So, again, I implore you to re-evaluate yourselves and try to see who the real evil person is. Your site has turned Christians against one another. Good job.

Brother Bob L. Yates, Jr. said
Mr. Douglas,
You managed to spew out a whole lot of silliness here, so in the interest of brevity I’ll just go point by point…
We’ve been over this “Aramaic” thing over and over again, on this and other threads. Quite simply, the AV 1611 King James Bible is the direct, infallible and inerrant Word of God, delivered directly from God to Man in English. Therefore whatever Jesus said is correctly presented in this English text; the rest of the argument is immaterial and the notion of a “mistranslation” is flatly impossible as there was no translation.
As for “hating” godless Jews and others, what led you to that conclusion? They are Christ-deniers and Christ-killers and undoubtedly condemned to burn unless they shed their heresies and accept the Lord Jesus Christ; but that doesn’t mean I hate them per se. I simply point out what the Bible makes quite clear. There is no need for judgment or hatred from me, the Lord makes his opinions regarding these sorts clear enough. Saying the truth about godless heretics and blasphemers doesn’t mean I hold hatred in my heart for them and is not an expression of hatred.
“Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.” – 2 John 1:9-11
To point out the very simple reality that those who reject the Lord Jesus Christ are destined for Hell is hardly an expression of hatred; it is nothing more than acceptance of the Word of God.
As for the other Christian denominations you mention, I respect the supposition that people may know the Lord through these other sects, though of course you’ll be much more prone to misunderstanding if you’re not a Baptist; but more power to you. The exception to this, however, regards the Papist Heresy or “Catholics” who are undoubtedly anti-Christian idolaters who substitute a deified Mary (from pagan practice) for the Lord and defame the name of Jesus every time they utter it. The Mary-worshipers are most assuredly NOT Christian any more than Jews or Mohammedans are. Simply uttering the name of Jesus – which Papists, Mohammedans, and even B’hai & “New Agers” do – does not make one a Christian.
And finally, no, neither this site nor my efforts to educate the confused and lost “turn believers against one another,” as if you feel the views of the Lord and His Word are mistaken then you are not a real believer. Only false Christians could be offended by my preaching or that of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ that participate on this website. So if you feel the urge to turn against us, I would suggest that it is your non-belief or misunderstanding – not our preaching of the Word – that is at fault. I’ll pray for you.
Your humble servant in Christ,
Thomas said
Mr. Yates,
First (going by paragraph coinciding to each of yours), it may interest you to know that John Wycliffe made the first attempt at translating the Bible from Hebrew to English in the 14th century…that’s the 1300s. 300 years before your KJV, though those were banned. In the 16th century (100 years before the KJV) William Tyndale completed (and continued revising) the English version from Hebrew. If you truly went to seminary school, it seems you would know something of that magnitude when discussing the translation of the Bible. If this did not in fact happen, then the people who wrote the Bible clearly spoke English in their time period, but somewhere in the past 2,000 years gave it up and started speaking a different one…okay……..
What led me to the conclusion of you not loving Jews and others not affiliated with the Christian (or to narrow it down more, Baptist) faith, is how you refer to them: as “God-less heathens”, “Christ-killers”, etc. Referring to them, no matter how true of it, is not appropriate. Consider this: imagine, for a moment, you are a Jew (or some other non-Christian). What if you were to hear someone refer to you as a “God-less heathen” or something? Wouldn’t like it, would you? No matter how true. And, may I point out, they are not “God-less” as the Jewish faith (not to be confused with nationality) believes in the same God we do. They’re “Christ-less”, not “God-less”. Also, they did not kill Christ. We all did, with our sins. The Bible clearly states that he was sacrificed for our transgressions. Not the Jew’s sins, not the Roman’s sins, not the Pharasee’s sins…EVERYONE’S sins. So, yes, the Jews killed Christ. But so did the Romans, the Catholics, the Protestants, the Baptists, the Lutherans; you killed him, and I killed him. My mother killed him, and your mother killed him. We’re all guilty, but all (“all” meaning “Jews, Romans, EVERYONE”) can be saved through Christ who died for US!
I agree that all non-Christians are damned to Hell before repenting and turning to Christ, but they can’t do that if we don’t fellowship with them and talk with them about it. What if Christ had not spread His message to them? That would have been a pretty pointless visit then, wouldn’t it? I have a hard time finding the Christian brotherly (and sisterly) love we have for non-believers that Christ calls us to have, on this site. Show me one thread that doesn’t involve you bashing, but not trying to help, those who need it. Ie: Jews (the religion), Buddhists, Islamics (the proper term for your “Mohammedans”), liberals, Democrats, homosexuals, etc. You don’t agree with their viewpoint. Okay, don’t tag them as a lost cause or something and not even try to help them…..
What sort of things will I be “prone to misunderstanding” if I’m not Baptist? As far as I know, the difference between Baptists and Presbyterians are the baptisms of infants. I’m genuinely confused, because we both believe Christ is God’s son sent to die for everyone’s sins, thus, we’ll both be in heaven. Why there is so many arguments on this site about things like that, I’ll never know.
About the Catholics…no comment. That does not even merit a response.
Mr. Yates, if you are going to be praying for me, then pray that I am able to get an internship at Apple Inc. this summer, because as of now, it seems impossible, but through Christ anything is possible.

Brother Bob L. Yates, Jr. said
Mr. Douglas, again going in sequence…
As for all the silliness about the Holy Bible being “translated” from some non-American languages, plainly this is a difference between Baptists and whatever sect you support and we’ll just have to agree to disagree. There are plenty of others who share my view on this question, for example: http://www.empirebaptistministries.org/college/index.htm and their statement on the scripture perfectly agrees with mine: “1) General… We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally and plenary inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God-breathed, and therefore are the final authority for faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments are the complete and Divine revelation of God to man. The Scriptures shall be interpreted according to their normal grammatical-historical meaning. (2) Version… We believe that The King James Version (Authorized Version 1611) of the Bible is the accurately preserved, authoritative and true Word of God in the English language, and shall be the official and only translation used by the Church. We disavow all other English versions and translations of the Bible as corruptions because they delete the pure meaning of redemption and pervert the absolute Deity of Jesus Christ. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Pet. 1:19-21; Psa. 119:89; Heb. 4:12; Isa. 8:20; Rom. 15:4)” —Statement of Faith of Empire Baptist Temple.
There are NO “translation” errors, therefore EITHER Jesus spoke English, OR God inspired the translation and it is therefore it is absolutely perfect and without error.
On the question of “hatred,” it would appear that our disagreement is more one of style than of substance. That is, we agree with the general principle – “that all non-Christians are damned to Hell before repenting and turning to Christ,” – just not on how to go about confronting the godless. I personally believe in saying and preaching the Truth: “If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” – John 14:15-17 The point being, I feel no need to “sugar coat” the truth, the Lord is clear and if the deniers don’t understand the horror they face for failing to accept the Lord then they need to hear it in plain English.
As for who physically killed Jesus Christ in this world, the Holy Bible makes it pretty clear who was responsible for that.
You also ask: “What sort of things will I be ‘prone to misunderstanding’ if I’m not Baptist? As far as I know, the difference between Baptists and Presbyterians are the baptisms of infants.” – But I think the discussion of the Bible above answers a significant portion of this question, what with all your “translation” silliness and the like.
“About the Catholics…no comment. That does not even merit a response.” – I’m glad we’re in agreement regarding the anti-Christ Mary-worshipers: “But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.” – 2 Peter 2:1-2
And yes, I’d be more than happy to pray for you and your efforts to get an internship with Apple. You can count on my prayers.
And finally, you should really drop this whole caveat to your closing, the “regardless of race, ethnicity, or beliefs.” Plainly the Lord has his favorites regarding race and ethnicity and of course beliefs are the defining differentiation between those who find salvation through Grace and those condemned to eternal punishment. There is no shame in saying the obvious, even if our styles differ.

Hmmm, the biggest error I see on this page, is Brother Yates’ claim that there are no errors in translation.
In translating any book from one language to another there will be errors, and since English was never one of the languages of the Holy Land we already know that none of it was originally written in english. I have already posted elsewhere the original languages of the bible and in which parts of the bible those languages were used. (Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic) Mr Yates’ constant insistence that it was written in english is just an indication of his own ignorance of the bible and religion in general.
The very first English bible was translated in 1611, that is a fact, it is undeniable and to try and dispute it is just stupidity at its finest. And God did NOT inspire it’s translation into English, that translation was ordered by King James I of England. And it is full of errors, even the translators knew that, which is why you find so many words in italics, those are the words where the exact meanings of the original words (whether Hebrew, Greek or Aramaic) had no exact match in English so they gave what they assumed was the closest in meaning, and in some cases to ADD words that were not there to start with in order for it to make more sense in the English language.

The [poor silly lost] One:
There just isn’t the basis for a conversation or argument if you reject the direct inspiration of, the infallibility of, and the inerrancy of the AV 1611 King James Bible. This is a fundamental pillar of my faith (and I’m hardly alone in this, e.g. Baptist Republican) and therefore all my positions are based upon this premise. If you reject the premise, that is, reject the Truth, then there really isn’t any basis for further discussion. It would be like arguing Creation with an Evolutionist or literature with an illiterate; the basic point of departure that allows for reasonable discussion just isn’t there.
You can believe all this silliness about errors in the Bible all day, but I know this is both untrue and a deliberate effort to undermine faith in the Holy Scripture.
“These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: … A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.” – Proverbs 6:16, 19
Of course you have already admitted you are not a believer, therefore plainly you have no understanding; however I cannot say whether or not you campaign of defamation against the Holy Scripture is malicious or merely an expression of ignorance. Either way, the net result is the same: to sow doubt and discord among the righteous and you’ll end up paying for that.
Praise Jesus!

Mr. Yates,
One final thing, actually.
Referring back to if one is not Baptist they are more prone to being “misguided”, what is our president, George W. Bush? Because he is certainly not Baptist. I did some digging and he is reportedly a member of the United Methodist Church. Does that he is more prone to be “mislead”? Or does that make him not as Godly? Your site seems to make him out to be someone who’s more important that everyone else (certainly as president he is, but you use the word “glorious” to describe him, and quite often, which seems like a bit of blasphemy).
He doesn’t agree with everything with the Methodist and believes some Evangelical things as well. Like a mix, I suppose. And if you think my source is made up, it is not. It was from PBS. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/jesus/interviews/green.html. That’s the link, if you’re interested. If you find this source to be “evil” and/or “false”, then you will only encourage me to find a Baptist Christian source to prove it.
Please, explain to my how you find our president as “glorious” when he’s not a Baptist, nor is he as conservative as you think. I’m not trying to defame him, heck, I probably would have voted for him if I could have in the 2004 elections, but I couldn’t. By your own words, you imply that Mr. Bush is more prone than you to being “mislead” or something.

Since this discussion has moved on from ‘Republicans’ to ‘the Bible’, I have a couple of questions about Bible events…
- If I remember correctly, Adam and Eve had two children, both sons, and one of the sons killed the other. That being the case, who was involved in the procreation that led to future generations?
- This site rails against homosexuality, so I am reminded of the story of Lot and his family from the Old Testament. Lot and his family were righteous enough to be spared from the destruction of their city, but Lot’s wife disobeyed the command to not look back, and was turned into a pillar of stone(salt?). However, I cannot find the punishment for Lot and his daughters’ behaviors while seeking refuge in the cave (remember, they got him drunk – but not enough to cause impotence – and both impregnated themselves by their father.) Where can I find the about the punishment for Lot and his daughters?
I have more Bible questions that I’ll ask, but later, because I don’t want to burden you with them all at once.
Thank You.

Back to the subject of Republicans, here is a bit of Republican info from the news headlines for ya:
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (April 23) – A congressional candidate is defending his speech to a group celebrating the anniversary of Adolf Hitler’s birth.
Tony Zirkle, who is seeking the Republican nomination in northern Indiana’s 2nd District, stood in front of a painting of Hitler, next to people wearing swastika armbands and with a swastika flag in the background for the speech to the American National Socialist Workers Party in Chicago on Sunday.
The event was not the first time Zirkle has raised controversy on race issues. In March, Zirkle raised the idea of segregating races in separate states.
Sounds like a normal Republican to me.

Yeah, but you were right, that was stereotyping on my part, but I do that to the Democrats too. My problem is, I don’t like politics and/or politicians. For 6000 years man has tried to find a workable form of government and they have failed. Any attempt to govern the masses by a few selected individuals is doomed to failure. By nature, men lie and cheat to gain power then abuse their power once they have it, and for any few people to think they can decide what is best for everyone is just insanity.
Every government in history has fallen and that pattern will continue until the end of Man’s reign on Earth. Ours has lasted 200 years, which is a pretty good run, but its time is limited too.
Bobby G said
Agreed, but that’s only because of the fallicy of man. If we were perfect, as Yates thinks he is, then we wouldn’t have this trouble. Oh, by the way, I know this is a bit late, but the number of the beast in the original Bible was 616 not 666. Rendering that whole line of math Yates did completely null and void.

I just had a chance to peruse your “news and views” section, looks like the Huckabee “vision” didn’t quite work out. Maybe it wasn’t God talking to you or maybe God just lied to you because he hates you and wants you to look foolish. Probably the latter, I’ll let him know it worked like a charm when we speak later.
By the way, Hempydave, God does hate fat people, its why gluttony is one of the 7 deadly sins, surprised you didn’t know that. Now put down that Twinkie, fatty, or the devil’s gonna get you!

It saddens me that hate is spread in the name of our lord Jesus.
Our God is a loving God, not a hating God.
I’ll pray for you all
Don’t forget – Jesus was a Jew.

Thank you for this heavenly website. I have found my new temple of worship on the internets. I completely agree with “Uncle Samson” above that all children of God’s earth should be made to read the prophetic words spoken here and maybe we can once and forever rid ourselfs of the ungodly stench of wickedness that wreaks demonic destruction upon so many unsaved souls.
Thank you for your dedicated obedience to God’s devine plan, His unerring word and in Jesus’s name I thank you for my own personal internet salvation you have delivered unto me.
God bless you all,

I’m doing some research and I was hoping a Christian republican could be a good sport and answer some questions.
1. Do you believe the Earth is 5,000 years old?
Yes, give or take a few years.
2. Did Jesus had a dark complexion? if you think no could you explain your rationale
Jesus was not dark at all. His Father is the Lord. Mary, who by all accounts was very fair skinned, was not the “mother” (note to Catholics!), but the vessel. So Jesus only had God’s DNA.
3. Do you think Sarah Palin is ready to be Prez of the US?
Yes. She’s an AmeriCAN not an AmericCAN’T!
4. What do you think of Sarah Palin’s daughter conceiving a child out of wedlock… did this change your mind about her?
Just because someone’s daughter is a loose harlot doesn’t mean the mother is at fault. Satan is powerful and clearly sees Sarah as a threat.
5. What do you think of Christian hate groups like the KKK and the American Nazi Party give you guys a bad name?
There you go with your lib double talk. The KKK and the Nazi Party are NOT Christian groups. They are run by atheists.
I’d greatly appreciate someone to respond.
Thanks for your time
You’re most welcome! Now I’d like to ask you a question (fair is fair): Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior?

I know some people like to antagonize people on these types of sites…
But I’m trying to produce a documentary and would like some serious responses, possibly be interviewed in the piece.

I pray for these 10 wonderful people. I pray for their success in exterminating the jews, negroes, homosexuals, gypsies, and criminals. we need to keep the mexicans because there’s no way i can keep the church yard neat all by myself. oh, the muslims, they’ve gotta go, to. better for us to send them all to their death now then to let them live and raise children who will only be condemmed to the fires of hell.
amen jesus!

Just as a heads up there, the KKK is not run by Atheists and is typically run by fundamentalist Christians. Thomas Robb is someone you might want to look up because he uses the exact same terms as you do to spew racism and hate. Most of the lines on this site and a lot of his speech is interchangable.
“Jesus was not dark at all. His Father is the Lord. Mary, who by all accounts was very fair skinned, was not the “mother” (note to Catholics!), but the vessel. So Jesus only had God’s DNA.”
This is quite possibly the most ignorant statement you’ve said. Using this, we need to find Jesus’s body/blood/anything so we can create clones of him and figure out the actual **physical** being that apparently was GOD. I thought God wasn’t a physical being. Oops.
All accounts apparently means 1600 years after the fact. Oh! I forgot, if the King James Bible is the one you’re following and is THE only word of the lord…. what were people following when they slaughtered millions of people in the lords name during the Crusades? Were all of the writings of previous men who claimed to speak to God directly (priests, pastors etc) a total fabrication? I know you’re just going to answer that with circular rhetoric pointing to another Biblical site “proving” your point, but try to do it without pointing to a book that was written at least 400 years ago as factual proof.
There is so much hate on this site that it should be reported as a site created to incite hate crimes.

Hello!
I have just found your wonderful and Godly site today, and feel truly blessed to have read some of your fine articles.
As a deeply committed Christian Republican, however, I must take issue with your inclusion of Former Senator Rick Santorum on your list. While Santorum was a mighty champion for the forces of life in this country, he is sadly hellbound for his misguided belief in Roman Catholicism.
Make no mistake, I’m not saddened by the rightful damnation of Catholics, simply saddened that this otherwise fine Republican is so misguided. As Republican Baptists, we must all pray diligently that Former Senator Santorum have the scales peeled from his eyes and embrace the True Faith that we righteous share.
In His Name,

Dear Brother Yates,
Having read other articles on this site, your long-overdue recognition of the likelihood that our Lord and Saviour spoke American brought a sudden gladness to my heart. I pray every day that I will be saved from the damnation that would otherwise await me for being born in Britain, and corrupted by irony (and other imperfections of the human spirit, I.E. forms of original sin). I look forward one day to joining you in the true biblical ISREAL of the United States Of Jesus, in a world bereft of Darwinist conspiracies and gun control. People who do not understand our kind will undoubtedly soon share the fate of Darwin, William of Occam, and other enemies of the faith.
Yours, etc.

i was wondering why god killed millons of unborn babies in flood of noahs day? is he really against abortion? and the many unborn children killed in the recent war in iraq is that gods will? or the billions who will die on judgement day many unborns gona die that day ? since librals and athiests are the only ones getting abortions maybe god is in favor of them? after all christians dont get them right? because those little athiest will grow up to be big athiests some day you know?and when god justified slaughtering 1000s of his enemies inthe old testament he always says that those kids will grow up to be just more pagans anyway so its ok to kill pagans right ?? im just trying to make sence of this debate?

Benny,
This one of the dumbest posts left yet on this board — and that’s saying something! Do you really think that it’s OK for us to kill babies just because God does it? How silly is that? There are many things God does that we aren’t allowed to? Do you think either Christian or secular law would allow you to drown the planet, burn to death a town of sexual deviants, kill every first born of a nation to settle a score with the country’s leaders, send bears to maul children to death for teasing a prophet because he’s bald, etc.? God can do these things because God is the ultimate arbiter. All of us, and our secular institutions, are subservient to Him. Not the other way around! You really are dense.

Hi Tiffany; I want to thank you for admitting how cruel God is in murdering for example children who would make fun of a bald man!!! You should be so thankful to be in such a loving spirit creatures loving hands.
can you imagine if one of us where murder a child for making fun of a bald man ??? What a evil creature we would be to to do such a hienious crime!!! But God can do it!!! Oh i forgot he is the final arbitrater!! Your reply to my question answers other age old questions about the mentality of the christian right. And since God has complete foreknowledge of each humans births future actions that means billions of young babies are born just to someday burn in hell for Gods pleasure!!! after all he is God and he can recieve pleasure from a person burning in hell!! And Im sure you would also get much christian joy out of watching some nonbeliever suffer in hell Since we were made in his image? So we also would be allowed to recieve pleasure from the torture of a human. Hey maybe God will set up a christian viewing day for you christians to someday view us burning in hell!! Like a reward for you christians for going to heaven! Something to look forward to!! In closing I will quote one of the founding fathers of our great country Thomas Paine from his book the age of reason ;The most detestable wickedness , the most horrid cruelties and the greatest miseries that have afflicted the human race have had their origin in religion! The bible tells us that crimes against chrildren carried out by the express consent of God the flood and other atrocities we must unbelieve all our belief in the moral justice of God . And to read the bible without horror we must undo everthing that is tender sympathizing and benevolent in the heart of man!!

Linda,
This may be difficult for someone of your obviously limited mental capacity to comprehend (i.e., I’ve read the plethora of posts you’ve left on this board in rapid succession), so I’ll try to be as clear as possible. This is an internet blog. People from all over the world post here. The Christians, of course, are generally from America, but from all parts of America. You see, an internet blog created from one computer reaches the entire nation, hence those participating are from many different places.
I hope that clears things up for you, love. Now, please try to get some sleep so that you will be a bit more cognizant tomorrow (assuming that’s even plausible).
