I agree with your concern about him. Now, I’m not in the least bit prejudiced. I support black people’s right to live just as I support the right of everyone else to exist. But we all still need to know our place. And his place is most definitely not in the WHITE House.
But as much as I don’t want him to win, I cannot support McCain. Not after he picked that borderline retarded bimbo to be his running mate. Not after he voted against all regulation, including regulation of financial institutions, and my retirement accounts have lost so much value in less than a week. Not after he flip-flopped on so many issues.
Don’t worry. I’m not voting for the colored boy either. But I can’t support McCain. He’s been a disaster and I’m convinced he’d be a disaster in the White House. And, frankly, since he’s had four bouts with cancer, he may not survive four years, and the thought of that mentally deficient wench (who boards planes for nine-hour flights after she goes into labor) taking over is too much to swallow. So, I’ll be staying home this time, and I cannot encourage any of my conservative friends to do anything differently.
I have voted straight Republican ticket every single time I’ve voted since the year I reached the age to vote (such year shall remain unidentified). I often don’t even bother to read the ballot. I just punch the “straight Republican” button. But not this time. I cannot support McCain. He’s not a true conservative. He’s a dangerous man. The alternative isn’t any better, but I can’t support McCain.
I may lose some friends over this decision, but I have to do what I think is right. On election night, I’ll be staying home with my kids (something Sarah Palin never does).

This has not been an easy decision for me. I have voted in every election for which I have been eligible since turning voting age (and, no, it wasn’t THAT long ago). And I have never — to date — voted Democrat. But I can’t vote for McCain. He has demonstrated that he is not a man of strong character. He abandoned his disabled wife when she needed him most so he could marry a rich bimbo. If Jesus were in your heart, guiding your actions, you wouldn’t constantly curse at everyone who disagrees with your messages. You wouldn’t instruct people to kiss what must be the equivalent of a toxic waste dump (”dump” being the operative word). You wouldn’t hop into the sack with anyone who can achieve an erection (which, I imagine, must be quite a feat for any man after seeing you naked–-talk about turning someone gay!). You wouldn’t pollute your mind through substance abuse. None of those acts are Christ-like, and I have trouble believing you are a child of God, given your horrendous behavior.
I have no doubt that you will write something absolutely offensive in reply to this message and countless others left on this board, all the while saying, “I’m forgiven” (possibly saying it even before you’ve even committed the despicable act). The GOP (God’s Own Party) opposes a federal law prohibiting discrimination in employment against homosexuals (a law the Democrats support). The GOP opposes hate crimes legislation and believes there should be no law enhancing penalties for assaults against homos (the Democrats believe homos should be protected, just like blacks and women). The GOP opposes allowing homos in the military. The GOP opposes recognizing civil unions between same sex couples.
Now, if none of that bothers you, amen! I must admit, though, that I feel weird about this. Your support of Republicans is a lot like a black person’s support of the KKK, a Jew’s support of the Nazi Party or the

I believe that God allows us to live out our lives according to our own foolishness, unless we ask Him to change what is happening. Then God, in my opinion, interjects Himself into our lives and shows us a better way. And I believe, that God will bless our nation, or curse our nation, according to how we allow Him to be used in our lives. You totally misconstrued what I was saying, as usual, and went off on your own tangent to try in your own pharisaical way to make someone look less holy than you. AS for blessing, Eph.1:3 says that God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in Christ. Matt. 5:45 says, God causes the sun to rise on the good and the evil, and causes the rain to fall on the righteous and the unrighteous, (just and unjust, KJV).
As for cursing, Mal.4:5-6 said that if the hearts of the fathers were not turned to the children, and the children’s to the father’s, then He, God would come and smite the earth with a curse.
Maybe you should also read Ps.33:10-22, and see how the Lord works in the lives and doings of nations.

If I wake up and Obama is president, I will accept him as the president, and will continue to praise God for who He is, and will accept what He,(God), brings about for America. That doesn’t mean that I have to accept moral issues that are contrary to God’s laws, and I am obligated as a christian to speak out against them. I believe that God’s judgements are against or for the nation, but my first obligation is to God and His laws. If they are contrary to the teachings of God and of Jesus, then christians need to rise up and say so, even to the point of suffering persecution for His name.

I agree totally. But I actually think we need to go beyond that. I think we need to be more moral than God. For example, God never spoke out against abortion and Jesus never spoke out against homosexuality. Does that make either moral? No, of course not! So I call on all Christians to go that one step further, to be even more righteous and moral than God. Now, that may sound blasphemous, but it is not. God’s expressions of morality were made during a very crude and ignorant time of the World. For example, the Lord was FOR slavery.
We live in a much more enlightened time. I’m certain that if the Lord were writing the Bible now His views would reflect our views on this matter.

I have tried desperately to find someone on my staff who can interpret the ebonics of Posts 63-67. My LaShona is fairly good at that, but she’s on vacation pursuant to a Labor Department edict. I contacted her sister, Lucina, who is, believe it not, in college. She couldn’t make heads or tales of this drivel. She said it was completely incomprehensible under at least 27 known dialects of colored people with Western exposure. She described it as utter jibberish. She said she hasn’t seen anything like it since the time the two black guys were talking jive on the movie “Airplane!”
My husband is going to fax all five posts to a linguistics institute at Cambridge in the morning to see if they can find any known language that might come close to this. In the meantime, I suggest that everyone approach Bernard’s posts with caution because, for all we know, he could be asking where he can find our first born white daughters for sacrifices.
