What whould it be?
Peace? Good Lord no! Only druggy hippies and commies that hate our military pray for that crapola.
Food? Good Lord no! Some days I durn near want to vomit my TGIFridays potatoe skins cause I had way to much (gals: did you all know you all can get those suckers FROZEN at Kroger? — they ain’t as good as at the restorant but they ain’t as EXPENSIVE & sure hit the dang spot lat night or when you got yourself fellowship).
The greatest gift the Lord chould shower on mankind — other than He Love — is to kill ever last lib on the face of this Earth!!!! And He chould do it with one tiny little itty bitty flick of His huge Holy Finger!!! Please oh pleas oh please won you Jesus?
Just stop what you doing to imagine how PERFECT this world whould be without any libs hating on are troops, trying to steal are hard worked money to give to soggy Negroes in New Orleans, trying to take way are guns and putting folks in jail that talk bout the Lord in school!

Oh June, what a glorious post and a wonderful idea… the thing that I would love most about a world without liberals is… no more porno. I’m going to be honest with you, I have always had trouble with porno. I’ve always been a man with a wandering eye, trust me, I’ve asked the good lord for forgiveness many many many many times but he don’t make it easy for us! It all started when I was fourteen and the hormones kicked in, ever since then I’ve been in constant battle with what my eyes and manly parts want and what i know is HOLY. Anyway, without them hot and sexy lib porn stars, there would eb no porn and no porn would mean less distractions and vices and god knows that would allow me to spend more time in prayer talking to jesus. I need to set you straight son. Before I was saved I had problems with cocaine. How did I get that problem? I worked in the porn industry in the San Fernando Valley. No unfortunately it was behind the camera. Not literally. I help build the sets and help move stuff. I don’t know what led you to the false conclusion that Republicans don’t support regulation. We’re for regulating everything that is immoral or that we disagree with. We’re for shutting down adult clubs that appear within a 20 minute drive of churches or schools. We’re for regulating the books our children read by banning those that contain offensive language or suggestions (like Suzie having two mommies). We’re for prohibiting those cancer patients who can’t cope with a little pain from smoking medicinal marijuana because marijuana is wrong, no matter what adjective you put in front of it. We’re for restricting state tort laws that allow injured people to bilk corporations. We’re for banning states from recognizing same sex marriages or even civil unions because those deviants need to keep their debauchery in out-of-the-way restrooms and Catholic RECTories.
Republicans are for regulating every single aspect of people’s private lives that might involve immoral or decadent conduct. We’re simply opposed to regulating corporations (other than those involved in the smut trade) because corporations reflect the hard work of the chosen few, and some of the wealth these great men earn trickles down on the lazy poor, so everyone benefits in the end.

I for one love Christian music! Some of my favorite bands I grew up with, number one being Jars of Clay, they are amazing. Others being DC Talk (which stands for Daily Christian Talk), Kuntless, Sonicflood, Switchfoot, Reliant K…those are just to name a few but I’ve got more. Oh and I still have a personalized autograph from every early member of Third Day, them too are good!

I more or less listen to the bands I listed above…well more because I grew up Christian and those were the popular alternative Christian bands at the time. But mainly because I am first and foremost a HUGE fan of music, and can appreciate the art, wether it be Christian or death metal…it all grabs my attention.
I steer clear of those songs of worship tho. I find them so utterly cheesy anymore.
“Lord I lift name on higgghhhh” is a popular one.
Than I remember this camp one we sang all the time:

Depending on what music you like. For instance, there’s this Christian band caled Norma Jean, they are a hardcore/trashcore band. “Bless the Martyr, Kiss the Child” was their best album ever. On first listen you would never guess they were Christian, I guess that’s why I like it so much, is because you can’t really tell.
That and another band called MewithoutYou is another amazing Christian band, the singer Aaron is so poetic in his lyrics. P.O.D. is another mainstream one, and Blindside as well.

It’s nice to hear that someone else listens to Christian rock, and alternative Christian music, along with the ones I like. Groups like Casting Crowns, singers like Chris Tomlin, Carman, and many others. Being an eclectic music lover, I enjoy most all of the styles that are out there, with the exception of most rap. A couple of other groups that aren’t bad are; Caedmon’s Call, Casting Pearls, and Third Eye Blind.

It simply refutes your claim that one must be illiterate — or possess no more than an eighth grade education — to support a conservative, literalist interpretation of the KJV 1611 Holy Bible.
If you have the guts (and intelligence) to cite specific messages you find objectionable, we’ll be happy to discuss them with you. But don’t hide behind global attacks. And if you want your message to sound intellectual — or at least rational — give up the ad hominem attacks.
