Since becoming an official staff member of this blog, I have witnessed some of the most rude and inconsiderate people I never even knew existed. I have also met some of the kindest and most Christ-like people I have ever known. It is a mixed blessing to be a part of something this powerful. We have grown from being a small, unofficial group of people who support a Christian, Sam Brownback, for our next president to, in just over two months, one of the fastest growing blogs in the internet.
One thing I have learned through this experience is that there are a whole lot of mean, ignorant, and cruel people out in the cyber world. Many people would have given up and thrown in the towel when they are constantly being persecuted for their beliefs, but not Mrs. T.D Gaines-Crockett, she is a true warrior in the fight against sin and wickedness in this world. I am so proud to be a part of this ministry and so thankful that the Lord has given me, along with our faithful members, the fortitude to stand our ground and look those who mock and scorn us right in the eye and tell them to go straight to Hell where they belong.
While I was away, we have had almost 16,000 new visitors to this blog and have added three new full-time staff members, including our very own resident minister, Pastor Tobin Maker D.D., who we consider our biggest blessing. It is simply becoming too much for a handful of us to manage so we thank those who have volunteered their service as part of our spiritual team. Be it behind the scenes reading the hundreds of emails we get on a daily basis, moderating the comments left behind by unsaved, ignorant trash, or organizing the mission work that we do, every person who touches this ministry is valuable to us and we love you in Christ’s name.
I would like to personally thank each of you who take the time to reply to the comments of the children, the unsaved, and the abusive agitators. While most blogs would simply ban them from posting, we feel that their ignorance and hatefulness should be exposed as an example of the types of soldiers who are fighting on behalf of Satan in this spiritual war. Your patience, sincerity, and devotion to following the truth is a true blessing to us all.
In recent days, there have been those visitors who wish to attack this unoffical grassroots ministry of Sam Brownback supporters from behind by trying to pit other Sam Brownback supporters against us. They have made disruptive and untrue posts on other blogs, sent emails exposing their own ignorance and hatred for Sam Brownback, who we have repeatedly said does not offically support this blog, and the very members here, and have started a campaign of ad hominem attacks against us. As opposed to stooping to their own low and sinfully repulsive level, we are going to take the high road and start a prayer thread for them.
At this time, we would like you to join us in praying for the empty souls of those who are blinded by their own ignorance and hatred. Their shame of their own actions and lifestyle choices has made them petty, biased, and cruel towards others who do not share their own distorted view of life. May the Lord replace the vitriol and poison in their hearts with love, compassion, and grace. May He also open their eyes that they may see the error of their ways and never succumb again to the deeds of their master, Satan, that they serve.
Please leave a prayer of your own, Warriors for Christ, so that those with empty minds and souls are made whole again.

Please touch their hearts and give them the compassion required to be civil in their disagreements. I know that’s a tall order, Lord, since these morons are gibbering imbeciles.
Please bless Sam and Mary Brownback and the entire Brownback clan and help him to do well in the Ames straw poll.

This is a point that I’ve been wondering about for quite some time. Is this a definite confirmation that B4B is a ‘front-line blog’, ie one that takes on people on about ideological issues, as your references to a ’spiritual war’ suggest? That would seem to conflict with the ToS that cite criticism of Sam Brownback as a reason for banning.
Also, if we are discussing prayer, I would like to throw into the ring a Biblical quotation that is of relevance here; see if you can see where it’s coming from, and how it’s relevant to this very open expression of prayer:
‘And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. While other candidate’s supporters cuss and squabble amongst ourselvs, let us brownbackers show that we can rise above childish insults and re-focus America’s attention on the issues.
It is in part that we are able to stand united while the Fred-heads and Clinton-mafia bicker and trade personal abuse, that I am confident we will be able to deliver a Brownback victory in 2008.

How can you POSSIBLY call US ignorant and stupid. I AM a good Christian woman, and will raise my son to be one as well. The fact that you support those who would call any man in a kilt a homosexual, THAT is ignorance. Chrstianity preaches equality, acceptance, forgiveness, and understanding. I follow those standards. Why don’t you? It is people like the one who wrote that artcile, that gives us Good Christians a bad reputation. My son is a year and a half year old, and has already worn a kilt numerous times. And a kilt is a proud thing to wear in my heritage. It has nothing to do with “easy access” and it is NOT a skirt. It is an honorable, traditional garment, that was worn for ease in battle and marching. If a kilt is so unmasculine, then pants MUST be unfeminine. Please do not call me, and those that believe as I do, ignorant. We believe in TRUE values of Christianity. We do not shun, we love. We do not bash, we accept. We do not cast out, we accept. And to call us “Un Godly Scottsmen” is beyon racism, and very much NOT the attitude a REAL Christian person would have. Please, take that analytical mirror and turn it on yourself. Realize your own ignorance. And learn that no matter what a person WEARS, it is what is on the INDES that counts. Their heart, their soul. Not their garments. My son will continue to wear a Kilt when the situation calls for it. And if I ever re-marry, I hope that my husband wears a Kilt in our ceremony. A kilt is a very masculine thing, and I would be proud to see my future husband wear one!

These people stink of fear. They are totally incapable of dealing with changes in their lives, so they vilify anything that they’re not used to. Hell, replace “homosexuals” with “Jews” and you’ve got antisemitism that would make Hitler blush. Every group is earning their equal rights, and women and non-caucasians have thrown off their shackles of oppression; homosexuality is simply the last prejudice to be overcome. I think Durden and Adam are a bit overzealous in their opposiotion to that article. And I dissagree with some things they have said (and many others). But the point is this article is based on judging and ignorance. And who are we to judge? That is not our job, that is God’s holy work. We have no right to judge any man. No matter his color, ethinicity, religion, wardrobe, or sexual orientation. I too believe that God created every man equal, and that includes the homosexual portion of the world’s population. Yes, some may say “But the bible says….” Yes, the bible may say a lot of things, but let’s be honest. THe bible USED to be the word of God. It has been rewritten time and time again by churches and nobels to say what they believe it should say. So many things about it have been altered over the centuries, that it is not truely God’s word anymore. It is man’s VERSION of God’s word. I am a Christian woman. I attend Church (when I can find the time….I AM a new mother and a baby is a hard thing to schedule around) I pray, and follow the besic rules of Christianity. But I believe that a good portion of the Bible is not God’s word. But merely an alteration.

I agree, Scott-ette, I sometimes do get overzealous. A fault of mine. Also, I agree that the Bible may be God’s inspired word, which is far more likely than it being his absolute, indesputable word. Also, considering people wrote the Bible, and people who never even know Jesus wrote the Gospels, that sorta shoots down the “God’s precise word” idea.

I am new here so I can not offer to much as to Mrs. Gaines-Crockett character, but as a Christian woman I have learned the value of being submissive to my husband. Now I know that some of you feel that, especially in America, that you should be a certain way…but those ways are objectionable to our Lord Jesus…like working outside the home. Did you know that by doing such a thing you are supporting planned-parenthood!?(baby murders) Why? Because it tears at the very heart of the moral fiber within a good Christian home. We as women have the divine appointment to be the moral fabric of our families by setting a good example to other example to others that are lost and do not having the saving grace to lighten their path. When a woman works outside the home she upsets the natural balance of things, for example if she works outside the home she will have her own money, which of course leads to all kinds of indecencies…to name only one, it can and will emasculating her husband, the true bread winner and supporter of the family. He is her King! Her place is in the home rearing the children she has brought forth as a burden of love, that is to say that she has gone to her marriage bed with the understanding that he female wiles must be kept in check, she should do this as an act of love, devotion and with the hopes of being found with child instead of self-seeking lust that demands she “get her needs met”…I know to some of you who do not have the light of Christ in your heart may find all this a little hard to swallow, so I will stop here and give you time to think on my words, to contemplate them and to ask Christ into you heart so they he may reveal to you the truth in my words.

Eve as a wife is called a “helper” in the translation of the Bible we have (English…pick a version). The orignal word discribing Eve’s role was one that is used only two or three other times in the Bible, and it is used to descibe God. The closest you can get to simple translation is “lifesaver” in a sense. Then, wives are told to “submit.” Meaning (gotta love that Hebrew) the husband is the head (ok, no arguement thus far) and that he makes the final choice. The wife is in no way silent in this matter as she plays the right hand, and has authority and persuasive power (in other words, she has a say in things). Then husbands are called to sacrifice for their wives, as women (Eve) were created as the crown jewel of creation per se. (God created women last to complete everything…as something was lacking….you can go read that.) To sacrifice means to give one’s life for. And that is not limited to bringing home financial aid/”bread” to the table. Help with the chores is also under there…you know, help where you can. Then as a “lifesaver” and “helper” why can women not work outside the home? Help the husband. Gee, never thought of that. In today’s society two incomes are often needed.
Also, a “gentle and quiet spirit” does not mean you never make your presence known. (One more go for the Hebrew….) The “gentle and quiet” is a characteristic of the Holy Spirit side of God…. Think on it.
There’s a different perspective for ya.
