U.S.E. Testimonial and Praise Report!

Hi Lynelle! My name is Marla and at one time, I considered myself a victim of rape.  Today, however, I am happier and healthier because I am following the USE principals that I found on your website. At first, I found your suggestions startling because I had never thought of the assault on me as anything other than rape. Today, one week after reading all of the comments here and finally praying with the members of USE in the email prayer list I have a new outlook. I would like to share with you my story.

Last year when I was 19 and away at college, living with a girlfriend, Stacy (not her real name) that I worked with I had an Unplanned Sexual Event. It while living with her that I came to know her fiancé Paul (not his real name). It was about 2 weeks after knowing them that I realized that I did not want to be there anymore. Every night when Paul would come over he and Stacy would get high and very abusive towards me. First, it started out with them calling me names me for not partying with them and then they were getting upset because I ignored them and locked myself in my room.

About a month into our lease, I came home after an evening class to find a large party going on in our apartment. Paul and Stacy were high and drunk as usual but this time there were about thirty more people there, all intoxicated. They had to have been partying all day to be in the condition they were.  There were people in every room of our small apartment but I was tired and not in the mood for an argument, so I just asked them to vacate my bedroom room and I locked the door and went to bed.  Apparently someone had either broken the lock or used the standard pass lock key and let themselves in but I awakened about an hour later to find Paul on top of me with Stacy and several others standing around my bed.  I will not go into the graphic details but I was assaulted by Paul, Stacy, and two other guys who were at the party. I was pinched, bitten, cursed at and endured just about every sexual encounter you can imagine for almost two hours.

When it was over, I just lay there shocked, praying and sobbing.  Paul and Stacy just laughed but finally left me alone. As I was cleaning myself up, I was consumed by anger and guilt for allowing to have happened to me. Over the next few months, until the lease was up and I could move out and far away from Stacy and Paul there were two other instances where I was Used. None as violent as the first thankfully (no biting or pinching) and eventually they just left me alone.

Up until I found this website, I was still very angry with Stacy and Paul for what they did to me. Then when I read the USE page, it was as if a light went off in my head and I remembered my Pastor back home preaching on God’s plan for each of us. It was then that I accepted the USE plan. Even though the Lord didn’t bless me with a baby to love, he did teach me that I could be Used and grow from it spiritually and emotionally.

Earlier this week I was able to call Stacy and make amends. She and Paul have since broken up and she apologized for what happened though I told her it wasn’t necessary – it was all part of God’s plan.  We talked for over an hour on the phone and have made plans to go and see a movie after our midterms are over.  I have been blessed with a new friend in an old friend.

The principle of USE has taken away my anger, sadness, and frustration so I know it is divinely inspired.  I am probably happier than I have been in many years. The Lord sure works in mysterious ways!

ps. I am 100% behind Sam Brownback and am starting a Sam brownback for President chapter at my college.

Thanks for letting me share my story.

Administrative note:

Marla, you are the one who should be thanked for sharing your powerful testimony with our readers. You are proof that U.S.E. is working! God love you and so do we!  We will be adding other beautiful testimonials this week as time permits.

  1. Thats a real nice testamony but I am still waiting for the one I sent to you to be published.

  2. I got a question for Marla about being pinched and biten. I want to know why you get your testamony posted when it sounds like you just did yourself a 3way and got little bruised while I got knocked unconcisous and my arm kickd until it broke. I was USE but they havent put mny story up. Why is that?

That story made me sick. Marla, I feel terrible for you for what you experienced, but how could you possible think that it was anything other than rape??? You poor brainwashed thing. Rape is not a gift.

    What a lovely story.

It is so refreshing seeing such a positive thinker. She took some lemons and made lemonade, as all proper ladies should. Some day that young lass is going to make a good, respectful, wife, who obeys her lord and master and truely knows her place in the family pecking order.

Though she perhaps should rethink the company she keeps. I will pray for her.

    Glory!!

  5. Confused said

A woman who knows her place in the family pecking order? How about right next to her husband, not below him? If a man told me that I was to obey him, I would kick him to the curb.

Marla, what a wonderful testimony! Thank you for sharing it. It’s such an encouragment to hear how God has worked/is working in the lives of other saints. May the Lord richly bless you and your family. How gracious is our God! My heart swells with love for Him! Tears of joy streamed down my face when I read how The Lord used your experience to call you to Himself. How blessed we are in our children!

Is there a lesson to be learned here? Are all of you saying that the most twisted, sick and perverted among us are doing God’s work? Marla, when and if you become a mother, will you counsel your daughter to view any vile thing that happens to her at the hands of such people as God’s work?

Let’s forgive the 9/11 terrorists, then. Were they not doing God’s work as well? (Actually, according to Falwell and Robertson at the time, they were. God was “punishing” us for being liberal, tolerating homosexuality, etc.)

I read this blog and others in an attempt to understand, if not agree with, those who have views different from my own. So far, I have found more grounds for despair than understanding.

    Oh Confused you poor lamb.

Often times our moral sins manifest in a physical illness. I am sure if you repent you will be back in the pink in a jiffy.

    Praise the Lord.

No women would feel that way about being raped unless they had been brain washed. That was either a completely made up story or a cover up so she can feel better about having an orgy.

You are the kind of people who make it so girls who have actually gone through it feel like it’s their fault and so they don’t tell anyone and don’t get the help they need.

  15. Chris Blood said

Also, “whodat” how dare you speak like that to “confused” it seems you get pleasure from these disgusting stories. Do you all get off on the fact that women are being raped?

Finally are you guys approving in the fact that she was sad that her “experience” did not result in a child I’m surprised none of you have damned her for wanting to produce a child outside of marriage. It’s one thing to accept and embrace the child but she’s saying that’s how she would have wanted to bring a child into this world.

  16. Dear Chris Blood,

Kindly refrain from using the “R” word. It is upsetting and bring back terrible memories for many women.

    Thank you.

Before you both have strokes here is a heads up, you don’t seem to be terribly familiar with Mrs TD Gaines-Crockets ***UNChristian Word Removed*** in the past, you should visit ***UNauthorized Link Removed*** website, or ***UNauthorized Link Removed*** , or Jesus General ***UNauthorized Link Removed*** That should help clear things up a bit.

By the way, if you respond to this comment with a bunch of fire etc. then it will prove one of two things 1) You didn’t go check out the sites I suggested or 2) Your sense of humor does not include ***UNChristian Word Removed*** .

This women who were RAPED needs to report it to the police right away! You need to call a spade a spade, unwanted sex is rape. Its a horrible word that suits a horrible CRIME. If you do not press charges against the people who violated you, then they can freely do it to someone else.. You have been victimized enough Marla, run away from this site as fast as you can and seek out a rape counselor. These people on this site are victimizing you all over again by having you do nothing. Rape often brings about PTSD, which can cause anxiety and depression. Do the blogmasters of this site want suicides on their heads of the woman who buried there pain and just accepted the crime that was committed against them and became depressed. Marla, the good will come when you stand up for yourself and press charges against the criminals that assaulted you. Also you will prevent them from raping anyone else. God wants to help you but you also have to help yourself.

THANKS FOR SHARING THIS… I WAS HAVING A KIND OF BAD DAY TILL I READ THIS

  20. Chris Blood said

You act as though me saying the word ***USE*** is worse than the actual crime. Why do you single me out many have said the word ***USE*** on this site why is it only wrong when I say it?

The acronym you use offends me quite a lot why don’t you stop using it to protect me from the pain?

  21. Confused said

Kindly refrain from using the “R” word. It is upsetting and bring back terrible memories for many women

What??? ***USE*** is ***USE*** . As GIL said, I’m just calling a spade a spade. Making up euphamisms doesn’t change the thing itself… like your cutesy words for genetalia: “lady parts” and “manhood.” It’s just immature.

  22. Confused said

And whodat, I didn’t feel sick from sin, I felt sick from reading this ignorance.

  23. Tilly Mae said

First of all, Chris blood, I was not being unkind to Confused just trying to help her out spiritually. I would never be unkind to someone who is disadvantaged, like mentally retarded people or women.

Oh and Confused, I find that Ginger Ale does wonders for an upset stomach. Feel better soon.

  24. Ahab said

Well, I certainly hope you reported your ***USE*** to the proper authorities. Since it’s exceedingly rare in ***USE*** cases to actually be able to clearly identify your attacker, it would make the prosecution much easier with such a positive witness idea.

But hey, this is all ***UNChristian Word Removed*** anyway.

  25. La Mona said

***USE*** is NOT God’s work. Sin is not of God, remember? Crime is sin, no? ***USE*** is a crime on part of the MAN forcing the woman (speaking in the general case of ***USE*** .) Now, it is possible to take it, learn from it, grow from it, rethink some things, etc, etc. But that is all in how you handle the situation (healing…or in a negative way–hurting). (afterall, what good does eternal bitterness get you?)

Also, in the testimony I fail to see where the woman took the ***USE*** as being her fault where she was just a provacatively clad woman attracting men.

Tilly: I doubt Confused to be retarded.

    Confused: Agreed.

I wish she could grow up and never know of hate for others or see others hate towards one another.

All I can do is teach her how to think for herself and let her know nothing makes her inferior. Teach her how to use logic and come to conclusions on her own and not have to rely on anything or anyone.

  30. La Mona said

Lol, do they make buckets that big?

I really wish my comment was no longer “awaiting moderation.” Let’s try rewriting it without our newly censored word…..

“R-pe is NOT God’s work. Sin is not of God, remember? Crime is sin, no? R-pe is a crime on part of the MAN forcing the woman (speaking in the general case of r-pe.) Now it is possible to take it, learn from it, grow from it, rethink some things, etc, etc. But that is all in how you handle the situation (healing…or in a negative sense–hurting). (afterall, what does enternal bitterness get you?)

Also, in the testimony I fail to see where the woman took the r-pe as being her fault where she was just a badly clad woman attracting men.

Tilly: I doubt Confused to be retarded.”

Now, does this one make it?

  31. La Mona said

Oh, look at that! No need to moderate now.

  32. Confused said

Ha! Thanks, Mona. I doubt I’m retarded as well.

Anyway, why do you think women are “disadvantaged”? Women can do just about anything men can. Women can be smart, independent, strong, and talented. I think all of the misogynistic men on this forum are just intimidated by strong women. Actually, most guys like women who are smart and strong. A real man will pick Amelia Earhart over the Britney Spears.

…Well, actually, I guess they’d probably pick the one that wasn’t dead, but… whatever.

  33. Lazarus said

I understand what you are getting confused. I would pick Amelia over Britney, if Amelia were alive and my age. lol. And unfortunately no there isn’t a bucket that big.

  34. Amelia Earheart might have lived a lot longer if she’d worn more dresses and flown fewer planes.

  35. You are so right Pastor Maker. From eveything I ever read about her I suspect she was a sodomite and God struck that plane down to rid the world of her wickedness.

    God Bless! :-)

    Lynelle

  36. Confused said

Amelia Earhart was a smart, brave, independent woman. Maybe if she’d assumed the role of the average woman she wouldn’t have died so soon, but she wouldn’t have lived, either. I think that’s a risk she was willing to take.

  37. Western Lass said

I agree with Pastor Maker and Lynelle. God deals with sinners in his own way.

Rise up the Righteous leaders in this Nation and the Nations of the Western world. Not leaders pursuing self-interest or defined by the demands of global corporations Father. Leaders defined by their service to their people through sacrifice. Lord we need leaders who have a heart after you a heart filled with works meet for repentance. Lord lead these lost souls into repentance so that they may know the heart of God.

Maybe I can use that as the defense in every day life – it was god’s plan. I stole the car, smoked some crack, beat up an old lady cuz that’s what god wanted me to do. Unbelievable.

  41. I thought Amelia Earhart was married but that doesn’t seem to mean a whole lot these days. She could have been a lesbian. :-( I just hope whatever she was she was at peace with God when she died.

  42. Lazarus said

Lol, Tobin Maker I see you don’t like women with intelligence(i.e. smarter than you). Lynelle seems to me anybody smarter than you turns into a lesbian or any other thing you dislike. I like women who are smart, because they can actually talk and hold very interesting conversations. Unlike the women you like who sit around and have a catatonic look on their faces all day long.

    Tilly Mae: Right on! :D

Confused: Women are disadvantaged because they *can’t* do everything men can. For example, we don’t let them vote, or drive motor vehicles because they are stupid, ignorant, and clumsy. Also, they have to wear make-up and perfume because they are naturally ugly and smelly.

  49. Confused said

Ha! Herme’s, you made me giggle.

  50. *UnChristian Word* Crazy said

I appreciate the aatiee, but it does seem that exceptions to laws prohibiting abortion are somewhat illogical in nature. However, the arguments used by those who oppose abortion are illogical as well. If you consider abortion to be murder (implying pre-meditation), then there is no logical way to make rape (or USE) an exemption for murder. Now, if you do offer an exception for rape (or USE), you are essentially saying that abortion is not murder (how can you ever legalize murder in any circumstance), but that you still think that women should be forced to have unplanned children. What this implies is that having children is some sort of punishment for unprotected sexual activity. It is impressive that “pro-lifers” love babies so much that they consider having them to be a punishment. But beyond that, we’re saying that laws banning abortion force slutty/irresponsible women to pay for their sluttiness/irresponsibility. And now, we’re a nation of slutty, irresponsible women who are forced to raise children as part of their punishment. I wonder how those children are going to behave when they reach the age for sluttiness. That’s family values!

QED: The only way to improve the overall health of our nation is to freely offer abortion as a viable choice for all women! (seriously)

Oh yeah, and if you love children so much that you consider them to be a punishment, then you are not a Christian and will have a choice of execution method: stoning, burning, or drowning. You pick.
